Pinning and Evading for Improved Individual Attack

Rating: 4
from 7 members ratings

This week we're working each and every player in your team by focusing on their intricate running skills, with particular attention on:

  • Acceleration, Sidestepping and Shifting of body weight (and the ball) to favour the position you are in

Why are we working on these skills? The purpose of this session is to improve your player's ability to draw their opposition off their base, to get defenders off balance and moving them from side to side so that your player can manipulate the attacking zone.

Rugby - Running with flairUse this session to develop your players' ability to run with the ball and practice offsetting each defender they take on and improve their individual flair!
