what is the trick for spinners to bowl in slog overs ?

In response to your question - I am taking it that you mean what advice would you have for spinners at the end of an innings, during a 20/20, or in powerplay overs.

Since the rise of 20/20, spin bowling has been the single most effective weapon from the bowling team - why? This is due simply to the lack of pace ofn the ball. The less pace on the ball, the more work the batter has to do to really 'hit' it.

I would suggest you consider the following%3A

1) Vary your pace - keep the batters guessing. Sometimes the slower you bowl the ball the better! Don't always be tempted to bowl the ball quicker and quciker the more a batter slogs you!

2) Dont give batters too much width - it is important batters cannot free there arms too much against you. If you bowl wicket to wicket, then you can set a field to this. If a batter keeps hitting you leg-side, bowl the ball futher outside off-stump.

3) Get your field placings right! Get your best fielders in the key postions for spinners (mid off and mid on, plus on the leg side)
