Ever heard of Browning sticks?

Has anyone wver heard of Browning sticks? Can't find any info on the web about them other than in a couple of chat threads. There are a flood of cheap sticks on Ebay/Amazon and generally excellent reviews, but I am a bit suspect as to where they are coming from. Only other Browning I have heard of is the Gun manufacturer, and certainly don't want to support them!

Hi David

I purchased two sticks for myself and my son. They are good sticks in terms of feel and hitting. But a note of caution, neither stick lasted a season. I bought the top of the range and it lasted about 6 games before the head split. My son's Aerolight lasted about three quarters of a season before the head disintegrated. However I may have been unlucky as a friend bought one of these at the start of last season and his is still going.

I contacted the supplier via ebay and the answer was tough luck but they did offer a slight discount if I wanted to try again, which I declined.

Hope this helps you make an informed decision.

Just a begineer really, so big hitting is not really on the cards yet! I am comfortable about the relative quality of the sticks given the number of reviews I have read. If you ignore the RRP's, the prices still seem good for what you get.

My real question was exactly who is my money going to if I buy one of these? Is it the same Browning that make shotguns and rifles?
