This session will look at getting your players to hit the ball out of the air, and not letting it bounce before striking. Hitting it on the volley will add power and confidence to your player’s game, and could win that all-important point in the set.
We’ll look at improving your player’s timing and positioning, ensuring that the right part of the racket hits the ball at the right time. By mastering this, your players can hit a clean and powerful shot to stun their opponent. It’s also essential to get the correct footwork, and we’ll look at drills which will work the inside-out forehand, as well as volleying close to the net. Mix up their play with adding a different variation of shots, and not letting them become predictable.
Make your player’s opponents tremble with fear with attacking play, and get them winning matches!
