This week's session is an extended warm-up, working on Agility, Footwork and Speed.
Every so often it's a good idea to get your players working hard and test their fitness levels. A bit like giving a car an MOT you should give your players a fitness appraisal to make sure they're fit and ready to hit the courts.
It's for this reason that this week's session focuses on movement as we get your players to split-step, react quickly to chase down the ball and practice their lateral movement.
All the drills are designed to remind your players of correct stroke play and movement patterns, helping them to react quicker to visual stimuli, exploding from the split step stance and meet the ball with time to adjust their position and strike a powerful return shot.
Try this session today, using it in its entirety or simply as a way to add some spark to your warm up routines.
