With a mixture of simple running and rallying drills you can use this session with large groups of players of all abilities - with half the group working off the playing court on their footwork whilst the remainder of your group are working hard on the court - perfecting their movement towards the ball.
By getting up and down the court quickly, with a high intensity of movement, your players will be able to meet the ball and prepare for their next shot with plenty of time to spare!
Starting with a couple of footwork warm up exercises you'll have your players on their toes from the start! Running figures of eight whilst keeping their eyes on the net and then picking up the racquet to race in an egg (tennis ball) and spoon (racquet) race!
