It can often be difficult to introduce beginners to a tennis program, and the first session is always the most important. That's why this session is full of variety to keep your players interested.
This session aims to introduce the players and give them a taste of what to expect from future tennis sessions, while also allowing you, as the coach, a chance to get to know your players at the start of a coaching program and assess their ability.
What's in the Session?
The following session includes a fun introductory game that gets your players working hard and getting used to the commands you will be using throughout the session. Players will work on racket skills, shots and target shooting. The session ends with a fun game for all players to enjoy.
Create a resolution to develop your coaching confidence by seizing the opportunity to discover new drills, turn ideas into action and seek advice from the coaching community.
