I have just been told that 8 weeks into the competition that another team is coming down from B grade to C grade for the rest of the season. I was just wondering if this is actually allowed as we are practically half way through this seasons competition. I just don't see how this is actually fair for my girls and the other teams and if it is allowed how do the score results work now since 8 games have already been played?
in my comp, there is a 5 week grading period, in which all teams are assessed and then the committee discuss which teams are not competitive in their division and should be moved to another. maybe after the reshuffle of teams, the team in question put in an appeal and won. and hence the late move. (just speculating)
as for points i have no idea. if they came from a higher division, and were obviously not doing well, then they wouldnt have many points. but i am not sure how this would be carried over to the next division. ask the committee for the answers to your questions.
