Maximum score on one hit; what is it and how would I get this score?

Maximum score on one hit! what is it and how?

Surely you could get a rounder from a hit and a run to fourth base. Plus you could take it after 2 no-balls so you would get an extra half rounder. However, if you are obstructed on the way around the track up to any number of times, you would get extra half rounders for each obstruction.

Nearly answers the question but there is a little more to add and "up to any number of obstructions" is too ambiguous. So yes 1 rounder for getting round, half for taking the 2nd no ball, BUT how many obstuctions could be awarded? This depends on how many other players are on the track as each could be obstructed between each post they run to. This is something a good umpire has to watch out for and it is not easy so the umpires must work together. So the maximum would be 6.5 rounders if three players were on the track and each were obstructed between every post.  I know this will probably never happen but it does show that you must be aware that it could

Good point from Alan, but also you could be obstructed any number of times as the live batter and also the 3 other batters waiting at a post. So you could be obstructed by two fielders between 1st and 2nd for example.....ie. when you go to run away someone gets in your way and then when the base player moves into your path at 2nd. This would be two obstructions and therfore two half rounders for that player. If you are obstructed I don't believe there is a limit to how many players could obstruct you on the way to a post. So it could be a huge score.

A player can only be obstructed once between each base/post as when they are obstructed they have a free walk to the next post.
