Corner Set Piece - Getting players to attack the cross

In response to a recent question this week's Session is dedicated helping your team "score more from corner set pieces" - working on accurately crossing from a dead ball situation and teaching players in the box how to time and arch their runs so that they lose their markers and arrive in time to head home the goal!

Nobody says set pieces are easy though - professional teams spend entire days practising them, ensuring every player knows exactly what role they've got to play.

We know you don't have as much time as the pros, but you can still introduce the basic corner routine to your players to help improve their skill and confidence. That's why in this session we coach your forwards how to attack the cross while also working with your defenders to get them making strong-headed clearances!
