Coaching Points

  • Hold ball nearly vertical with bottom hand, with top hand steadying rather than holding Keep head over the ball during run up
  • Drop the ball, do not throw it into the air first
  • Kick the ball as it begins to rise from the ground
  • Follow through with kicking leg
